Description
Bardahl Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 is a synthetic fluid for hydraulic circuits of disc brakes, drum brakes and clutches, of cars and motorcycles, with superior characteristics in terms of resistance to high temperatures and lower viscosity at low temperatures. Recommended for high-performance vehicles. Suitable for all vehicles with ABS.
The high boiling point, both dry and wet, allows the product to be used in complete safety in the case of particularly high temperatures, without the possibility of dangerous vapor bubbles forming within the fluid (Vapor Lock phenomenon). The excellent cold fluidity, however, allows its use even at the lowest ambient temperatures.
Bardahl Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 is not corrosive towards the metals present in hydraulic systems and does not cause swelling of the rubber parts with which it comes into contact (even permanently), thus helping to avoid problems with the seals generally present in braking systems.
Its notable lubricating power promotes the proper functioning of the mechanical parts present in the hydraulic circuits and helps reduce the wear of the moving parts.
Product Plus
Brake Fluid DOT 5.1 thanks to its high chemical stability, I make the product unalterable even under the effect of particularly intense thermal stresses.
- Superior thermal stability and high safety against the Vapor Lock phenomenon
- Excellent low temperature viscosimetric properties
- Compatible with all rubbers, both natural and synthetic
- High corrosion protection on metals
- 100% Synthetic Formula
Usage
WARNINGS FOR USE
Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's instructions.
Keep brake fluid in its original container and tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption. Absorbed moisture significantly lowers the boiling point of the fluid, thus promoting the creation of vapor bubbles and thus reducing the braking effectiveness of the system.
Liquid may attack paints. Not compatible with mineral and silicone fluids.
